Lighting design and operation

Nettles is a one woman show that explores the life aspects of an Eastern European woman living in a Western society. Controversial in today's political climate but necessary. The show is written for a female audience, portraying infinitely relatable experiences.
My role was to enhance the performance and provide subtle cues and moods through lighting. It was my first theatre performance and first time using a Chamsys console. It was an interesting experience to plan specific lighting cues that relate to dialogue, as opposed to operating lights to music where everything is a bit more improvised.
